At the heart of the system is the new ground-breaking hybrid inverter, the Sunny Boy Smart Energy which enables both immediate energy use and energy storage in a single device, with three available backup options. The Sunny Boy Smart Energy shines with its high-speed battery charging capability. Conventional charging performance is challenged during transitional months by few hours of sunshine and plenty of cloud cover, but Sunny Boy Smart Energy’s fast charging allows more solar power to be harvested and stored in those few hours, ready to power loads and reduce energy costs.

The Enphase IQ System Controller 2 connects the home to grid power, the IQ Battery system, and solar PV. It provides microgrid interconnection device (MID) functionality by automatically detecting and seamlessly transitioning the home energy system from grid power to backup power in the event of a grid failure.

OutBack’s pre-assembled and pre-wired power systems take the concept of fast, easy installation to a new level of performance, value and flexibility with the FLEXpower Radian.

Everything needed, outside of power sources and battery backup, is completely integrated—just install the mounting bracket, hang the system on a wall, make the necessary connections and the system is fully operational.
